CBRE’s Global Corporate Services (GCS) division has launched an Industrial Transaction Management team in recognition of the continued evolution of the industrial property sector in Pacific.

CBRE has provided occupier services to its Pacific industrial clients, principally Transaction Management services, for over 15 years. Emil Joubert, CBRE’s Pacific Head of Transaction Management, said the launch of a specialised team recognised the growing sophistication of industrial occupiers and the evolution of the sector, whereby regional corporates dominated the demand side and large, sector specific REIT’s dominated the supply side.

“By forming an Industrial Transaction Management Team we can provide a specialised service to our large industrial clients,” Mr Joubert said. “By utilising our extensive market knowledge, key industry contacts and strong working relationships with the industrial agency community we can deliver real leverage for our clients.”

The new team will be led by long standing GCS executives Mark Jones and Brendan Jordan, who have a combined 25 years of property experience transacting on over 500,000sqm of industrial deals. The pair have also overseen four major portfolio clients servicing all their real estate needs across the Pacific region during this time and are currently handling 300,000sqm worth of industrial requirements nationally.

CBRE has also recruited Chris Cash, who will join the team in late May. Mr Cash has significant industrial experience in the Brisbane market having been a senior member of JLL’s Industrial Brokerage Team for approximately seven years.
