St Kilda Road building reaches 100% occupancy


Colliers International’s Ben McKendry has leased the last remaining tenancy at 509 St Kilda Road on behalf of the Beville Group in one of the largest St Kilda Road backfill leasing campaigns in recent years.

Fair Work Building and Construction, a division of the Federal Government, has taken up 1,649 sqm on a ten-year lease, rents are understood to be in excess of $320/sqm (net). NAB was the previous tenant.

Colliers International has leased close to 13,000sqm of space in total to the following tenants at 509 St Kilda Road:

- AIA Australia 8391sqm
- Australia Post 427sqm
- Webjet 1670sqm
- Fair Work Building Commission 1649sqm
- BJS Insurance 750sqm

“All of these tenants have come from within a 500m radius of 509 St Kilda Road, demonstrating ongoing demand from tenants currently within the St Kilda Road market to upgrade their office accommodation and stay within the market,” Mr McKendry said.
